This film is about faith. From the very beginning of this film, you have the archeoligists discover something called faith. The definition is unknown to them and they continue to seek its meaning. They eventually find out that these people who died off had faith in these objects that represented there Gods. This is what gave them hope. So in the end when they are on the verge of dying they discover faith and grasp its power to survive.
The director of this film, Bennett Cohen, showed an interesting future where earth was a desolate wasteland being used to unearth clues abouts its destruction to save another civilization. The moral of this story was of the power of faith and to tell the audience to regain there faith…faith in a higher power.
